Built by a security practitioner

AI Governance Solutions exists because real AI risk doesn't fit in a compliance checkbox — and no existing tool was treating it that way.

Chase Sutphin

Founder, AI Governance Solutions

Chase is an enterprise security engineer with deep experience in AI security, cybersecurity architecture, and risk management. AI Governance Solutions was founded after years of watching organizations deploy AI faster than their governance structures could keep up — and finding that no available tool could bridge that gap properly.

The platform and consulting methodology were developed through real assessment work — running AI risk evaluations in live environments and surfacing gaps that no general GRC tool would catch. The result is a program built on what actually works in practice, not what looks good in a vendor pitch.

Why this, why now

Practitioner-built, not vendor-built

This platform wasn't built by a compliance SaaS team mapping SOC 2 controls to AI. It was built by someone who does AI security assessments for a living and couldn't find a tool that worked.

Methodology before software

The consulting methodology came first — real assessment work in real environments. The platform operationalizes that methodology. The order matters.

Framework-first, not checkbox-first

The NIST AI RMF is the right anchor for AI governance programs. It's vendor-neutral, comprehensive, and built for the actual complexity of AI risk. We implement it properly.

No overselling, no underselling

AI governance is genuinely hard. We tell clients what it actually takes — the work, the time, the organizational change required. We don't sell AI governance as a product you install.
